What kind of shingles do you offer?
Atlas offers a wide variety of colors and styles to choose from. We recommend the Atlas shingles because they offer the longest warranty of any product in its class and the price is the same as those offered by other companies. Visit this link to see a sampling of Atlas shingles.
What type of warranty do you offer on your Roofing?
Atlas offers the longest warranty in its class. Our shingles range from 25 years to lifetime depending on the type of shingles you purchase. Our workmanship warranty is the longest in the business – 15 years!
How can I determine what kind of shingles are best for my home?
Our roofing specilists can come out to your home and help you determine what style of roofing would be best for your home.
Can I just put shingles over my existing roof?
We do not recommend it. It is not a good idea to put a brand new shingle over a moldy shingle. This causes the new shingle to deteriorate more quickly and can cause the deck to go bad over time. Most city building codes forbid it. If you feel compelled to do so here are a couple of guidelines:

•  The building cannot have more than 2 roofs.
•  The roof must be able to support the additional weight
What is your average wait time?
We have about a two week lead time but if you are in a hurry, we can get your job done sooner.
How long does it take to put on a roof?
We have a seven man crew. Most jobs are completed in one day.
Do you work with insurance companies?
We work with insurance companies all of the time. We typically can work within your insurance company funds. This means you should not have to pay any money out of your own pocket.
What kind of workers do you have?
Atlas is one of the few companies that actually screen the installation crew. We typically keep the same people for long periods of time. We treat our workers well and pay them the best wage in the business. We think investing in good people will translate into more satisfied customers, and as a result – will translate into more business.
What else do you do besides roofing?
We also offer the following services:

•  Siding
•  Gutters
•  Windows
•  Painting
•  Concrete
What time of year is the best time to install a roof?
The best time to install a roof is between the end of February through the end of November.
Do you offer free roof estimates?
Yes, one of our roofing estimators can go to your home and give you a free inspection and estimate. Our estimators are not sales people so you will not get any high pressure sales tactics! You have no obligation to purchase anything. Contact us for a free roof estimate.
What is a dimensional shingle?
Dimensional shingles are multi-layered or laminated. They are heavier and last longer. They have a three dimensional appearance.
How do you pick up all the loose nails?
We have a large wheeled magnet that we roll the yard with. It picks up just about anything made of metal.
